Overview

The Tony-award winning UTAH SHAKESPEARE FESTIVAL, a professional theatre company in residence at Southern Utah University, is accepting applications for Production Staff for the 2023 season. The Utah Shakespeare Festival produces a seven-show repertory season and three Greenshows across four venues in the summer/fall of each year.

Scenic Artist: Contracts begin April 23 and run through end of July 15.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for painting and finishing of all scenic elements for assigned productions.

Intermediate and advanced experience with scenic painting and finishing or related field. Must be comfortable using ladders, scaffolding, and personnel lifts. Basic knowledge of typical scenery and paint specific tools.
