Tinc Productions, an event and theatrical production management company based in New York City, is seeking SCENIC ARTISTS to be added to our work roster in Dallas.
Please Note:
-Applicants who possess leadership skills will also be considered for higher-level positions (Scenic Charge/Crew Head) during the interview process.
-We will be conducting in-person interviews in the Grapevine area from March 7-9, 2023
-If you are selected for an in-person interview, please bring your I-9 documents with you.
Job Requirements
-All candidates should have experience working as a scenic artist
-Ability to creating texture and color samples from the designer’s model or elevations
-Ability to create patterns as necessary
-Priming and base-coating scenery as necessary
-Finish-work and aging techniques
-Work with a variety of materials
-Be efficient, effective, and a strong communicator and collaborator
-Enjoy a fast-paced environment with frequent changes
-Be committed to safety, professionalism, and a growth mindset.
-All candidates should be able to work in and around Dallas, TX
-Physical requirements of the job include standing, bending, lifting, climbing ladders, and using stairs
Wages and Benefits
This is a part time, non-exempt position with specific work rules. Hours are scheduled on an as needed basis with no set schedule or guarantees.
-W2 Employees, all appropriate taxes withheld. Paid weekly on Fridays. Direct Deposit available.
-Pay rate for Scenic Artist is $32.00 – 35.00 per hour.
-Eligible for Corporate Perks and Employee Assistance Program.
