Salary: $3,500/flat fee + room and meals provided
-Work with Scenic Charge Artist on all scenic and paint elements and show decks.
-Paint all shows and help ensure all production deadlines are met.
-Help manage the organization, cleanliness and maintenance of all paint areas and equipment.
-Follow all safety protocols.
-Assist in the training and mentoring of interns.
-Work independently on projects, as assigned. Work quickly with attention to detail.
-Assist with the supervision of all changeover touch-ups.
-Work with scene shop crew to restore performance and work areas at the end of the season.
-Ensure all paint materials and paint work areas are clean and items properly disposed of throughout the season.
-Restore paint shop and work areas and return all company materials at end of season.
-Experience with basic painting techniques (wood grain, brick, etc.) essential.
-Experience with advanced painting techniques, including carving, texturing, and distressing a plus.
-Excellent time management skills and self motivation with a strong team orientation is essential.
-Positive, collaborative attitude is a plus.
-Ability to work standard hours weekly and a flexible schedule, as needed.
