Job Dates

March through August

Scenic Artists are responsible for painting all scenic elements (scenery, drops, props, floors, etc.) for each production. Scenic Artists may be asked to do certain scenic treatments as required by the designer and Scenic Charge, including foam carving. Contracts run Beginning March – Mid-August. There is some flexibility on contract dates. Limited housing is available. Compensation starting at $13/hour, determined upon experience.

Compensation:
– All summer positions are paid hourly, biweekly on Fridays, and determined on experience
– Due to a Missouri State Statue exemption, Seasonal Employees are paid overtime at 1 1/2 times their rate after 52 hours worked in a given workweek.
