Charge Scenic Artist – Kansas City Repertory Theatre seeks a Charge Scenic Artist for its 19-20 season. The Charge Scenic Artist is responsible for the painting of all scenic elements with assistance from staff and overhire. In collaboration with the Scenic Designer, the Charge will evaluate designs, techniques, and treatments to accurately translate the designers paint elevations onto completed set pieces. Working alongside the Technical Director and Lead Carpenter, the Charge will plan and build a schedule of when things get treated and what is needed to complete the build on time and in an efficient manner. This is a full time seasonal position and runs from July 8, 2019 to April 19, 2020.
