May 10 arrive / July 28 depart
$3,500 stipend / $350 travel / double occupancy dorm housing / 14 meals a week

Minimum Requirements: Experience in scenic treatments including, but not limited to, faux finish, carving, texturing, aging, distressing, and general working ability in both latex and scenic paint. The candidate should also have experience in reading blueprints and color elevations and be comfortable working at heights above 16′. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, safety conscious, and a team player with at least two years of professional experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsible for:

  • Assisting the Scenic Charge Artist on all painting duties for the four-show rotating repertory season.

  • Assisting the Scenic Charge Artist in maintaining paint stock and necessary departmental purchasing.

  • Assisting the Scenic Charge Artist in supervising the paint department.

  • Participating in opening night discussions.

  • Maintain paint treatments throughout changeovers.

  • Paint Charging the Children’s Show.

  • Assist with company strike
