Overview

The Illinois Shakespeare Festival is seeking applications for interns in the areas of Scenic Carpentry, Props Fabrication and Scenic Art for its 2019 summer season. Experience is required in the internship area applied for. In addition to basic skills in their area, the ideal candidates should be self-motivated, easy to get along with and eager to acquire new skills in their area.

At the time of the internship, candidates must be currently working towards an undergraduate degree in a field related to the area of their internship. While internships are unpaid, housing is provided and up to six hours of college credit can be taken at no cost.

Depending on the area of the internship, positions are available for the build period of the festival, which is May 21-July 13 or for the build and run, May 21-August 13.
