Overview

Goodspeed Musicals is seeking a Scenic Apprentice for our 2019 season. Under the supervision of the Charge Scenic Artist, the apprentice will work alongside both staff and job-in painters in the execution of design renderings and in the maintenance of our paint shop. Responsibilities include the texturing and painting of hard scenery and props, as well as a significant number of soft goods. Basic painting skills are essential, and experience with color mixing, layout, and drop painting are desirable. Preferred candidate would be available late January 2019 through late September 2019. Hourly plus overtime, housing available for a small weekly fee, and applicants have the possibility to be eligible for the Goodspeed Musicals Andrew Isen $5,000 prize.
